#Cant join skype group chat windows 7
I am running Skype 6.18.59.106, windows 7 64 bit, I had the people I am trying to chat with upgrade their Skype installs. One person involved in the chat must have a premium Skype account. Skypes online video chat is useful for long-distance communication with friends, family, coworkers and business partners. When I try to send a group chat I get the black spinning circle by the time stamp.
My software: Linux Mint Rosa XFCE edition 64bit. Also I cant find anywhere in any list Skypes group chats I am participating in. This may be resolved shortly once the chat has updated, or the other person may be using an older version of Skype which doesn't support calling and IM at the same time" but now I am not getting any errors. When I select from Pidgin Buddies->Join a Chat and type a name of the group Chat from Skype then just a new chat window is opened, so I am not able to join an existing Skype chat. I was getting an error message that said: "Instant messaging isn't currently availble. The users are also reports, some message to group chat is not being delivered even though in high speed internet. I am not getting an error message anymore after uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. I also cannot make a group call but I can receive a group call. Last week I lost the ability to send/receive chats to/from groups.
