"Alive" was the second single by Krewella, which peaked at number three on the chart of the US Dance/Mix Show Airplay. In June 2012, the band released their EP Play Hard.
"Killin' It" was the first original song by Krewella, which was released in December 2011. The music style of Krewella is described as EDM, dance-pop, dance-rock, progressive house, electro, trap music, drum and bass, and future bass.
The three of them met at Glenbrook North High School. Another founder was producer Kris Trindl. The band was formed in the year 2007 by sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf (there is of Pakistani descent). Krewella is an American electronic dance music group that is from Northbrook, Illinois.
